Unterminated Unicode escape sequence.

A `\u{...}` escape has no closing brace. Close the brace after the hex digits.

What it means

A Unicode code point escape is written \u{ hex digits }. This is reported when the closing } is missing.

Recorded by node scripts/verify-examples.mjs with ts-r built from commit 6deaf01. The example uses the default tsconfig: strict, target: es2022, module: esnext, moduleResolution: bundler.

How to fix

  • Close the escape: "\u{1F600} x".
